I have already left two sewer attachments with the RV camping sites that we have visited. I would hookup to the sewer usually when the days were cooler which meant the adapters threaded further into the sewer. By checkout time the day has warmed up and guess what? The adapter won't budge. I purchased this adapter because it made sense to me also I was getting pissed off of having to constantly be buying new adapters. The product worked as good as it was described. I simply put it on the end of the elbow going to the sewer and then just stepped on it to get a good seal. When we were ready to leave all I did was grab the 2 ears on it and pulled up. It came out with no problems. I'm glad I purchased this product. Anyone who has had the same problems as I did then I suggest you make one more purchase, buy one of these and you will never have a problem again. Also when I pulled it out there were no signs of any wear at all. It's going to last me a long time.
I purchased this on a whim. I was at a CG and could not get a good connection due to the sewer inlet was sitting at some weird angle. When I saw this I made the purchase think I would never need it again. I could not have been more wrong.I use the Camco sewer products so fit was tight and solid as usual. I would assume it would work on all bayonet fittings with out leaking.First, it replaces the old fashion donut on non-threaded connections.Second, it works in threaded connections.Third, it does not jump out of the hole while dumpingFourth, it allows a solid connection regardless of the angle.Fifth, it allows a connection when the sewer connection is flush with the concrete and your fittings will not clear.Sixth, it does not allow orders to escape. You neighbor will be happy.Seventh, it is easy to remove. Just pull-up gently on the strap. If you RV to different CG's, sooner or later you will need it. Cons, I wish it came with end caps like the rest of the Camco Swere products.Just ended a long summer trip from the Carolinas to the Rockies staying at 33 different CG's and was glad I had it in 8 of them.
Finally, a Camco product that's not a cheap version of the real thing. This even fits in those really bad state park holes in the ground and helps prevent the awful splash/spillage/stench. Nothing else I've tried works in bad situations like that

This is really false advertising, and I'm not blaming Amazon, I'm blaming CAMCO for changing the product. Take a close look at at the photo in the advertisement, and count the number of threads on each ring of the adapter. Then look at the photo I posted of what arrived. This is pretty major - because the FOUR thread product they show in their photo works fine (I know, I have used the 4 thread version for years), but the TWO threads that actually are on the product in the box may, or may not, connect with the sewer connection at the campground you are at (I know, because I have used this version and have had it NOT be long enough to go deep enough to connect with the sewer pipes - especially any that are below grade, even by a little bit). I've been to campgrounds where the sewer connection has worn out, and the top thread is hardly there - and THIS Elbow will NOT connect to those types of park connections. Camco's previous product did, but they saved 10 cents on the product and cut the connection threads in half, as well as made it shorter. Camco - SHAME ON YOU for cutting corners and making your product cheaper and not work - and if you go into the brick and mortar stores - it's the same - the photo on the box shows the 4 thread version, and actual item in the package is the 2 thread version. TWO threads are NOT sufficient to reliably connect to a sewer connection, and CAMCO, a leading supplier of RV supplies, surely knows this.... I am keeping the product because it's all that is available for an elbow that can stay attached to the hose, but really - CAMCO should be ashamed for doing this. I'm just lower my expectation for CAMCO products after this, and will keep looking for alternatives.
This item was not as described but i did not find out until I was 600 miles away & had to use the 10' hose extension at the RV park! The hose itself was good quality but it did not come with the caps as clearly described the product details which stated: "The kit includes a 10' heavy-duty vinyl sewer hose with pre-attached swivel lug and swivel bayonet fittings and 2 storage caps" I had to use it anyway because my RV drain hose would not reach!! I will be returning the item to Amazon for refund "unless" they want to send me the 2 caps as described above? I had to use the hose twice on my 1200 mile trip but sure wanted the caps to seal the ends!!
After Hurricane Harvey I was forced to live in an RV in my driveway for several months. I had to purchase several of these hoses in order for it to reach to the sewer dump. When purchasing the first batch, there were two that did not screw tightly together. They would not lock in place but I was able to make it work. Being the first time dealing with sewer hoses I just didn't know any better. Then after a few months, my grass was finally mowed by the lawn service and they accidently sliced up two of the hoses with the seedeater. So I ordered two more. Well one of those was the same way. It would not lock in place. It fit, but it did not lock down. I asked my neighbor who is a long time RV'er to look at them but he said they were defective. Trouble was, I couldn't return them because my tanks were full and I needed to dump them!!! So I duct taped them together and so far I haven't had any issues. So almost 1/2 of the hoses I order were defective. My advice is to purchase before you NEED to dump and return the ones that are defective. Unfortunately I didn't have the luxury of time on my side. :o(

Since purchasing our RV we have noted many people using sewer hose supports while at various parks. When I was in the market for a new hose decided to splurge and purchase a sewer hose support as well and I am very glad I did.As anyone who RV's knows when you empty the tanks at the end of your vacation it isn't much fun having to lift the hose up to ensure that all the matter inside has drained out or worse yet thinking the hose is empty then moving it only to end up with shoes covered in nasties. This sewer hose support will see an end to those worries. The support is made out of plastic and is very easy to set up and take down. After removing the orange holder I set it under the sewer connector on the RV and then gently pulled it out until it reached the park sewer connection. Once in place I then lifted the hose onto the support and ensured it was sitting securely, I could see at this time that my sewer hose was angled in a natural downward slopping manner towards the park sewer connection. At the end of our vacation I opened the black tank and waited while it drained out, with the sewer hose support in place everything moved through the hose very quickly and without leaving anything stuck in the hose. Following I flushed out the grey tank and again was so very happy to stand and be able to see that everything was draining out and I didn't have to lift it to clear any obstructions.Once the tanks had been completed drained detached the hose and was so happy to not have any nasties dripping out the end.The support folds up easily just by folding it into itself, I agree with other reviews the orange plastic holder caused me some problems when trying to secure it to the support. However when I arrived home I found that like the hose support the orange keeper is also has a tall end and short end, if you take the time to look at it and ensure that the short end is placed over the short end of the support you won't have any trouble using it to keep the support together when not in use.Only taken this out on one trip so far but it really is worth the money I paid for it and I'm hoping it stands up to use over time, should it be necessary I will update my review.
Used for the first time a couple of weeks ago on a trip to the Fl. Keys. Just a tip, you have to work out the spacing just right otherwise the hose will sag at a joint or two when you flush the tanks. Had to readjust the spacing several times when I dumped the tanks but next time will set up from the trailer first, then end at the drain. Also won't try to set up with the slide out (if your running under a slide). Crawling under to adjust was extremely uncomfortable.
The length (15ft) and height was sufficient for what i needed. However, at one campsite there was a big dip between the pavement under my popup and the sewer inlet. The sidewinder isn't stiff enough to cover this gap so I used a piece of deck board that I keep for rough leveling as a bridge. This seemed to resolve the issue. Also, as a new glamper, I learned that you don't keep your valve open the entire time you're hooked up to a sewer dump. If you only open it when the tank has some substance built up it allows enough pressure to flush everything down the hose.

Terribly disappointed with this system. Useless after three days!!! We are full time RVers and thought we had stumbled upon a sweet new set up. See my pics. The connection at the clamps slid completely out of its sleeve or what looks like a silicone hold. Granted it is 120 degrees in Hurricane, Utah as it was also in Las Vegas when I first used it.You don't always get what you pay for. Hopefully the company will reimburse me. I'll let you know.Update: they sent me a new hose. Same issue. These things do not withstand high heat locations. Great concept. Cheaply put together.
I really wanted to like this hose system, but in my experience it is completely unusable. I have treated it very gently since it came out of the box, and it has always been stored in a soft container. It has never been rubbed, pinched, stretched or kinked. It has been outdoors on flat ground about a total of 10 days. In 95 degree Alabama heat it completely failed while laying on the ground...it just split wide open. Now I'm out the very high cost of the hose, the matching extension and I have modified my coach to work with this system. Now I have to hustle to find another hose system to use while I wait to see what Lippert will do for me. For me this purchase has been a complete mistake.
Like many others, we struggled with the twist-on sewer systems offered by other manufacturers. The hoses that have come with our camper and now motorhome are the typical twist-on variety and although they work, they are messy. The best system we used was the Thetford Titan system and the absolute worst was the Prest-O-Fit, which went in the trash after one use.The Lippert system with the cam-lock system promised something different. We watched the manufacturer's video and other video reviews by bloggers and were impressed. I was a bit leery about cutting off the nibs on my sewer pipe that all the other systems use to hold the twist on fittings. BUT, Lippert had an adapter in case we ever needed to go back to the old twist-on systems. On our 2017 Winnebago View the waste pipe already hung a bit low for my taste, so instead of cutting off the nibs, I just cut the whole pipe back. I bought some ABS glue at Home Depot and installed the fitting, and I was in business. I would NEVER go back to the old systems.I would encourage you to do a search on YouTube to find the various owner reviews on the system and see it in action. Other than a built-in macerator, I do not know how there could be a better system!** UPDATE. The drain end of the hose has a shut-off, but Lippert did not sell a "plug" for the male end of their hose, which would seal the hose when stored in a plastic bin. After searching the local bib box stores, I found the perfect solution. A $5.00 Oatey 33402 3" (75mm) Gripper.

I had used this 10' Rhino Flex hose 2 times prior to it failing and it is stored in a safe place on my trailer. I was dumping a 28' travel trailer black tank into a 42 gallon blue boy waste tank, had both ends of the hose firmly secured and in place. When I opened the black water tank valve at the trailer the hose blew off the end of the fitting (came out of the orange connector) at the blue boy tank. The fitting was still firmly intact and in place on the blue boy tank, but the hose came out of the fitting that was still tightly secured to the blue boy waste tank, spewing waste on the ground. I was able to quickly stop the waste water flow by shutting off the valve and after examining the hose end it appeared to have been glued inside the orange fitting at 3-4 points and there was no way that I could repair the hose so i tossed it in a dumpster. This was obviously a very unfortunate, frustrating and scary event and I will no longer use the Rhino Flex hoses as the quality of this product is flawed and suspect and I cannot trust the integrity of these hoses anymore. I have contacted Camco and will await their reply, but would strongly urge potential buyers to do some research, look for durable/trustworthy hoses and do inspect your equipment prior to use to eliminate this type of situation.
Just got the 20 foot hose (2x10 ft.) and wanted to flush the black and grey water tanks. After reading the negative reviews I wanted to be sure I didn't end up with a huge mess so I disassembled all 4 hose to fitting connections (unscrewed the lock ring) screwed the hose as far onto the orange connector as possible and screwed the lock ring back on snuggly by hand. Filled and flushed both tanks twice. It worked exactly as hoped for and zero leaks. I'm a happy camper at this point. Quality seems good. Only time will tell. I see some reviews talking about hose being glued on and the glue failing. I don't see any glue. The end of the hose does have a clear grease on it I'm assuming it's to facilitate the screwing of the hose to the connector and not for sealing. It looks like so long as the hose itself doesn't start leaking it should last awhile
This was delivered April 19. Today is May 26. The second time using this, went to dump my blackwater and the end where the hose is glued to the coupling that goes into the dump station came apart and left me with a mess. Not happy. Of course it is right outside my return window. POS will not buy again or recommend to anyone.

This hose is amazing. We have been RVing for about 14 years now in Class A motorhomes. Sewer hoses are gross things and often develop a scary life of their own by stretching and dancing about when you empty the tank. Then trying to put it away is like wrestling with a toxic boa constrictor. Gag. THIS sewer hose is the BEST. It stays in the exact position you stretch it to. It does not wiggle an inch when you dump the tanks. It snap-collapse back down to the original length and will not stretch back out when you try to store it. Plus you can see the liquid flowing through the clear elbow connector that attaches to the PVC sewer pipe when you dump. This is especially wonderful because when you rinse out the black tank, you can see when the rinse water flows clean and you know your job is done. We had no idea how many rinses we needed to do to really get our tank clean. I cannot recommend this highly enough. It is well worth the cost. I would still buy it at double the price.
This hose is well made and worth the money. The only drawback is that due to its design it can be harder to rinse than some other hoses. The other hoses we've used naturally 'want' to be somewhat extended. Running rinse water through them will likely clean most of the interior of the hose. In order to do the same with the Valterra, it must be stretched to its full 15 foot length, which can be hard to handle. If it is not extended and rinsed wastewater can be trapped in the 'pleats'.As a practical matter, that hasn't been an issue for us -- no odor -- but we carry the Valtera in a section of 5" PVC fence post that is completely open on both ends, with just a steel pin at either end to secure the hose. This allows air to circulate freely. If it were carried in the more typical sewer hose holder that is capped at both ends it might be a different story.IMO, this is a case where it's worth spending a bit more to get decent quality.
We dump our RV at our home using a sewer clean-out that is about 38' from the RV black water connection. Our old hoses started to leak after 12 years so we purchased a few of these kits. Because several reviewers had issues with leaks I tested the hoses prior to using. I put about a gallon of water in each hose and connected it to itself, making a sort of triangle shape. Then I took them and stood them against the wall with the connection at the bottom which completely submerges the connection from the inside. I let them set for 30 minutes. All in all, 2 out of 6 sections of 10' hose leaked. Returning one kit to Amazon as defective but we have 40' to use.I really like how compact the hose is to store. They’re pretty rigid and stay in the configuration that you put it in. The kit 20' kit comes with 4 small caps that fit inside the connectors capping the hose itself and not the bayonet connection. The hose fits inside the 4x4 bumper of our RV but it’s a close fit and the connectors need to be positioned in just the right way. The 90 degree sewer adapter doesn’t fit in the bump and will need to be stored elsewhere. I measured 2 of the hoses fully extended and each exceeded 10’ in total length. The material seems to be of good quality so we’ll see how they hold up with use and over time.

I typically love Camco stuff and trust their brand, but this....this is a travesty.....or was it, hrmmmm? I was so disappointed with this hose. The only way you will get 20 foot out of it is if you hook it to your hitch and stretch it. Those Camco folks are pretty bright so I finally figured out what this hose is really inteded for. This hose is for when you want to have an "accidental" spill next to a set of bad camp neighbors with demon youth and a yappy dog. Now that I know what this hose was really designed for, I applaud Camco. It's so satisfying to see Mommie get kisses after their rat terrier made it's way over to this hose designed for camping neighbor biological warfare.
I am NOT using this as a sewage hose. I have this attached to my car's AC vent and zip tied back to blow on my baby. Works wonderfully!Thank you, Pinterest!
These MAY be 20' long, but to get them to 20' you have to stretch them out so much that any hose clamps you're using to secure they other end are bound to let go. They are also nearly impossible to get onto fittings; the openings are too small. They advise soaking the ends in hot water for 30 seconds. Guess what happens then? They're wet and even harder to grip. There are few things less fun than wrestling with sewage-coating fittings while trying to attach an ill-fitting hose that is poking you in the palm with the wire end while slowly tearing apart. Also, durability is poor: one of them tore in the middle while I was trying to wrestle the end onto a fitting. Save yourself some time and get the Rhino Extreme hoses.

Pros - they are extremely light, the foundation for stability is there and they work but for the price, they could use easy improvements that I'm sure the designer could have added but didn't to save on manufacturing.Cons - the "Graduation of size" from high to low is totally unnoticeable and they did not add easy to apply numbers (1-5) to them so will have to use a sharpie if ya want them in order. Also, how hard would it have been to simply add a piece that would universally swing over the hose to secure it to the supports ?!?!?! Easy fix on our end though, just use zip ties.
They seem to work OK , but are very light and may need to be anchored down. The incline from one to the next could be a little stepper . For the price I paid I expected more. Coming from Thetford I expected a whole lot more. Easy to set up and pack away. The carry bag is a little flimsy and cheap but does work. They do need to be numbered as they are close to the same size from one to the next. I just used a Sharpe marker. Over all I guess it is about as good as any other product for keeping your sewer line off the ground and draining. I won't say I'd buy it again. Its about a 50 / 50 split on that.
Best sewer hose support I have ever used.

The bag is nice along with the tags. Only one bag comes in the box with three tags in case anyone wanted to know.
I liked it so much that I bought three of them. I bought one for my sewer hose (put it in a black heavy trash bag before storing in the bag), one for my electrical and one for my water hose. Everything fits great in the bags plus all the accessories for each item. I especially like the tags that come with them so you can specify what's in each bag plus it keeps everything organized.
Fits 25 foot hose, water pressure reducer valve and water filter. This is the large water filter. Seems well constructed and durable. I bought a second one for power cable which is heavy.

Rv Sewer Hose – The Buyer’s Guide & FAQ:

1. Does it have the features you require?

Before you purchase Rv Sewer Hose, be sure again that it has all of the attributes listed in your requirements list! If some options are missing, it’s much better to search for an alternative.

We always suggest that our editors create a list of important attributes before adding a product to the list and rank it based on these features, the quality of the product and the brand guarantee!

At the same time if you find a Rv Sewer Hose that has all you need, maybe in that case you should not mind paying a little more. That’s why it’s important to make a list that contains the features you’re looking for, decide your budget and specifications (if any).

2. Read product reviews

An easy way to obtain the best product is to look at reviews of that product. Buying guides and reviews can help you learn a lot about the product you are planning to buy. If you would like important and relevant information regarding a Rv Sewer Hose, read user reviews based on real experiences with a particular product. They’ll help you decide on your purchase.

3. Budget and Price Match

Chances are you won’t be able to purchase the best Rv Sewer Hose with a very low budget. That’s why it’s important to write down all the important features, specifications, and budget. Once you’ve done that, start looking for products that either equal or close to your budget.

Try to follow your budget, but bear in mind that during your search you may see a version that’s a bit better and has an extra feature with a really small difference in cost. Consider these advantages. If it’s worthwhile, you should probably increase your budget.

About Promotions and Discounts

When comparing prices on merchandise, your goal is to purchase the best product at the best price. While some shoppers will willingly spend their cash on discounts and low-priced items, others will be more wary of those”too good to be true” offers and discounts. The perfect way to save your money would be to compare prices and quality of items at different online stores.

4. Always read product descriptions carefully

Not reading the product description before buying is a critical mistake. The problem with many online shoppers today is that they make the majority of their buying decisions based on the product image displayed. They do not take the time to read the complete product description. To avoid disappointment with your purchase, always check all of the information about an item before adding it to your cart. Don’t be fooled by photoshop-edited images that can distort the actual appearance of the product.

5. Warranty and Brand

Most of the experts we consulted told us to constantly buy Rv Sewer Hose, from a respectable brand. They also asked us to write in our buyer’s guide that purchasing Rv Sewer Hose from unknown brands or from untrustworthy companies is almost never worth the savings.

In the end, Rv Sewer Hose from an unknown manufacturer can be cheap but extremely low quality and difficult to fix.

Another advantage of buying Rv Sewer Hose from a reputable brand is the warranty. Most Rv Sewer Hose from reputable brands come with a great warranty. Cheap products have a warranty also, but it can be very difficult to claim it. So buy models from respectable brands with a fantastic warranty.

Our conclusion:

– So, the best Rv Sewer Hose, in our view, is Camco 39319 Flexible 3-in-1 Sewer Hose Seal with RhinoExtreme Hose and Handle- Flexible Fitting Makes Connection to a Sewer Inlet Simple and Less Hands On!, Black, Standard.

– Similar in features to the best, but a bit cheaper, is Camco 39639 Revolution 10′ Sewer Hose Extension – Heavy Duty Design with Pre- Attached Swivel Lug and Bayonet Fittings, Easy to Use and Compresses for Simple Storage.

– The best in terms of value for money, we choose Camco 20 Ft (43051) Sidewinder RV Sewer Hose Support, Made From Sturdy Lightweight Plastic, Won’t Creep Closed, Holds Hoses in Place – No Need for Straps.
